This museum is a great venue to introduce many to WWII. There are tanks around the grounds for kids to climb on and places to picnic. The highlight of our visit was to enter a dark door and be seques…Full review by Y1547MLlisaw

What a great display of D-day! The museum was fabulous and very interesting. The tanks were one of the best tank displays I have seen!Full review by GoPlaces648973

I was in town for work and had some time on my own, They have a very nice set up here plenty of tanks to see outside and a great area in the bldg to walk through to see the set up of a battle fieldFull review by firebear1961

PS, while you're at Cantigny take advantage of walking the park; you could easily make it most of the day, take a picnic!

A planned renovation of the 1st Infantry Division Museum at Cantigny Park in Wheaton will provide a more complete history of the military organization, developing a new permanent exhibit focused on the infantry's mission since the end of the Vietnam War. The renovation, with a price tag of about $7 million, is scheduled to begin in November and continue through mid-2017.

Just to comment that The Big Red One was not involved in the Korean War and perhaps Donna O was not aware of this.

This is correct- there is no exhibit on the Korean War at the Museum- it skips over to Vietnam after WW II.
