The Plaza is a beautiful historic square in the middle of Sonoma. It has many shady trees and a beautiful rose garden. It's surrounded by shops, restaurants, the Mission, and other historic buildings…Full review by SeeTheW0rld62

After a few wine tasting sessions we came here. Very nice town. Did a little shopping and had dinner. You must eat at B&V it is the best!Full review by 673randyf

Unique historical place, home of the Bear Flag Republic. OK, only 25 days in 1846. Wander around Plaza, look at the statues, go into Visitors Center, do some shopping, eating and wine tasting. No P…Full review by BoulderNut

We stayed at an air bnd home. Rented a room in there house. This is the most economical way to stay there. Sonoma is not a cheap place to stay. You might want to check how the city is after the big fire recently. I am glad we went when we did. It is a beautiful place to visit.
