Kim Kardashian is again leaping to defend the incarcerated and those she sees as unjustly treated by the U.S. government, this time advocating for incarcerated firemen in an Instagram Story posted over the weekend explaining how they are risking their lives to save the Los Angeles community for just $1 an hour.

Kim Kardashian is calling attention to the many incarcerated firefighters who are battling the flames that have overtaken Los Angeles.

Bearing in mind the disastrous fires in Los Angeles, Kim Kardashian demanded higher pay for incarcerated firefighters working laboriously to contain the flames. In a series of Instagram Stories, Kardashian first thanked all the first responders working with the Ventura Training Center,

Kardashian’s statement went on, “The incarcerated firefighters have been paid $1/hour to risk their lives, and this pay has been the same since 1984. It has never been raised with inflation. It’s never been raised when fires got worse and many died.”
