It has been confirmed that season two will not be the end of Mark Scout's story, as the show's director and executive producer confirmed in a recent interview that they are "starting up [their] Season 3 work", saying his top priority is the audience.

This is the second major push we've seen Apple TV Plus make so far this year to draw in more subscribers. Earlier this month, Apple made the streamer free for everyone for a three-day period so that new viewers could sample "Slow Horses," "Ted Lasso," and more of the best Apple TV Plus shows.

Severance Season 1' is available for free on Roku Channel until January 19, 2025. Ahead of its Season 2 premiere on January 17, 2025, the introductory season is being streamed to boost the show's popularity.
