Gov. Brian Kemp declared a statewide State of Emergency on Monday ahead of a winter storm that will move through parts of the state on Tuesday.

Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey has declared a state of emergency for 39 counties ahead of severe winter weather and snow in central and coastal Alabama.

This includes counties of Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Genesee, Wyoming, Allegany, Jefferson, Lewis, Oswego, and Oneida.

As freezing temperatures and winter weather approaches, Georgia prepares with emergency measures and resource mobilization.
