Mostly beneficial rainfall has fallen across San Diego County over the last 24 hours, but heavier rain later Thursday evening could cause some flooding issues.

There's a Flood Watch for the Mid-South from late Friday through late Saturday night. There's also a Level 3 out of 5 threat for strong to severe storms Saturday. Bundle up! It's a cloudy and cold start to the day.

Bakersfield received light overnight showers, compared to what we’re expecting later on this afternoon. Rain will be in and out today with a chance of thunderstorms. Heavy rain showers are expected this afternoon with temps in the low 60s.
