Three witnesses who were on the Monon High Bridge trail the day Libby and Abby were killed, including one who said she was best friends with Libby's older sister, testified Tuesday that a man they saw on the trail is "Bridge Guy" — the primary suspect depicted in a grainy photo police later shared to aid their investigation.

Jurors saw the infamous "Bridge Guy" video and heard from eyewitnesses who claimed they saw the man on the Monon High Bridge trail.

Tuesday’s proceedings included an account of items found at the murder scene and testimony on the infamous “Bridge Guy” video.

The forensic pathologist who performed the autopsy for Delphi eighth-graders Abby Williams and Libby German the day after they were found dead in the woods near the Monon High Bridge Trail in February 2017 backtracked on the stand.

Due to a labeling mix-up, a tip that defendant Richard Allen was seen on the Monon High Bridge on the day of the murders of Abigail Williams, 13, and Liberty "Libby" German, 14, in 2017, was not reviewed after September 2022.

As Day 6 of testimony in the Delphi murders trials began, the state began to lay the groundwork for its case against Richard Allen. Allen is charged with four counts of murder in connection with the February 2017 deaths of Abby Williams and Libby German near the Monon High Bridge.
