Fortnite’s Godzilla skin is coming soon, but there’s a major change in how players can allegedly unlock the legendary Kaiju.

A prominent Fortnite leaker claims that another version of Godzilla could be coming to Epic Games' popular battle royale in the near future.

Fortnite players recently faced off against Galactus and Doctor Doom. Now, the ultimate challenge seems to have arrived. Godzilla, the iconic King of Monsters, will be wreaking havoc across the island as part of the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 update that drops this week.

An exciting new Fortnite leak reveals what players can expect out of the game's highly anticipated Godzilla update ahead of the new patch.

With the release of the v33.20 Fortnite update, Epic Games added new cosmetic items for Godzilla. The bonus Battle Pass skin, along with its matching cosmetics, will be available on Friday, January 17. This will also mark the beginning of an in-game event which will feature Godzilla as an in-game boss, a new Mythic item, and more.

Alongside the Gozilla Fortnite event starting tomorrow, two new crossover skins will be dropping into the item shop: Kong and Godzilla.

There is nothing that explicitly states that Godzilla and Kong will fight, but fans are hoping Epic Games will get the hint
