One teacher says he’s getting fined for students who gather on the beach to watch his YouTube classes — even though he’s not personally there.

Two yoga instructors have again filed a lawsuit against the city of San Diego for the recent crackdown on longstanding donation-based classes at public parks and beaches under its vendor laws.

The lawsuit alleges the City of San Diego is now issuing tickets to yoga instructors for streaming classes online.

Even donation-based yoga classes amount to commercial activity, which the city can restrict in public parks and beaches, but ticketing a yoga instructor for lecturing about yoga appears to violate the instructor's First Amendment rights.

Yoga instructors who already had sued the city of San Diego over its crackdown on yoga classes in parks and beaches have filed a new lawsuit.
