The Flyers kept their composure after what could have been a deflating goal to dispatch the Devils for the second time in 10 days.

After a low-event game at the Prudential Center on Jan. 18, the Philadelphia Flyers and New Jersey Devils found themselves face-to-face once again on Monday night, this time in the City of Brotherly Love.

Bobby Brink, Joel Farabee and Garnet Hathaway scored to help the Philadelphia Flyers build a three-goal lead and they held on to beat the New Jersey Devils 4-2 on Monday night. Scott Laughton had a goal and an assist to help the Flyers snap a two-game losing streak and win the opener of a home-and-home set.

The Philadelphia Flyers opened a home-and-home set against the New Jersey Devils with a 4-2 win at Wells Fargo Center on Monday evening.

Hamilton scored a goal on four shots and added two PIM in Monday's 4-2 loss to the Flyers. Hamilton has played well lately with three goals and six assists over his last 10 games. Two of those nine points have come on the power play.

Dougie Hamilton scored for New Jersey in the first period. It was the first goal for the defenseman since Dec. 2 and No. 6 on the season.

This is the second of a home-and-home series. Philly won its home game on Monday, 4-2, over New Jersey, which will host the Wednesday matchup.
