While Behar scoffed at Trump for “feeling sorry for himself” while telling Hannity that he “went through hell” fighting numerous legal battles the last few years, and co-host Sunny Hostin reminded viewers that the president had eventually been convicted on 34 felony counts, Griffin struck a different tone.

Prospects for that appear slim, however, as both Hostin and panelist Sara Haines have had to take matters of Behar's phone into their own hands (literally) — such as grabbing Behar's noisy phone backstage after it went off live on the air and reaching over to silence it during the broadcast.

Reacting to Trump's announcement that he would get rid of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion policies, The View co-host said Trump did not earn the presidency with merit.
