LOS ANGELES - A brush fire that erupted in West Hills Thursday afternoon is now fully contained, according to Cal Fire. The Kenneth Fire burned 1,052 acres in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. Firefighters worked overnight to put out the remaining hot spots and prevent flare ups before gusty winds return this week.
