ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit believes the "drive of the year" this season took place in one of the biggest matchups of the year in Week 8.

As he does each and every week, Kirk Herbstreit has tweeted out the top coaches and coordinators from across college football in Week 8. Saturday’s slate earned the recognition for nine members of staffs with five head coaches and four coordinators with each one of those on the defensive side of the ball.

Herbstreit and the rest of College GameDay have logged a ton of flight miles this year, heating from Ireland to Texas to Michigan and eventually to Oregon. They’ll more than likely be heading down south again in Week 8, to either attend the Georgia-Texas matchup or the Alabama-Tennessee matchup.

UGA star quarterback Carson Beck had a forgettable performance, completing 23-of-41 passes for 175 yards with three interceptions. The offense totaled 285 yards and went 6-for-17 on third down. However, Smart was seemingly pleased with how tough Georgia played as a whole.

Ben's owner, ESPN College Gameday host and personality Kirk Herbstreit, started bringing him on the road, "to just hang out" last season. Ben's temperament and attitude are incredibly easy-going, so much so that he's been known to casually wander onto the Gameday set while the show is live.
