Champions Classic, featuring MSU hoops, returns to Madison Square Garden in 2025
The Champions Classic is going back to where it all began. One of college basketball's premier early season showcases, featuring Michigan State, will return to Madison Square Garden in New York in 2025, tournament organizers announced Tuesday. The 2025 games will be Nov. 18, and feature Michigan State against Kentucky and Kansas against Duke.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The premier early season college basketball event will return to the bright lights of New York in 2025. The Champions Classic has announced that the 2025 matchups, featuring Kentucky vs. Michigan State, will take place in Madison Square Garden in New York on Nov. 18, 2025.
