Two men and a woman are in the hospital after a shooting inside a Detroit bar early Sunday, according to the Detroit Police Department.

Around 1 a.m. Sunday in the 5500 block of Michigan Avenue, an altercation led to a suspect opening fire, police said.

Police said the shooting happened in a Detroit neighborhood where an illegal block party was being held last summer.

Police say that two men and a woman were privately conveyed to a hospital following the “altercation,” in the 5500 block of Michigan Avenue.

A man and a woman were shot and injured Wednesday night while sitting in a vehicle on Detroit's west side, city police said. Officers were called at about 8:24 p.m. for a report of a shooting in the 8400 block of Patton Street near Evergreen and Joy roads, according to the police department. Police reported the two were shot while inside a vehicle.
