Officers found a 25-year-old woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest when they arrived. Officers attempted life-saving measures until the Seattle Fire Department arrived. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 25-year-old woman was shot and killed in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood Saturday morning, according to Seattle police. The woman was found with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest shortly after 1:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of 11th Avenue, police said in a blog post. The woman died at the scene despite lifesaving attempts.
